Next Parking, a division of Next Realty, LLC, has completed a consulting assignment for Shore Medical Center in Somers Point, NJ, which culminated with the opening of the system’s new, 645-car parking facility and assured the facility opened with a strong operational platform.
Next Parking managed the process of launching Shore Medical Center’s newly constructed parking garage as a paid parking facility. Next Parking reviewed and assisted in the selection and installation of an automated parking access and revenue control system. Next also oversaw the process of hiring an outside parking management firm, from facilitating the RFP submissions to conducting interviews of potential candidate firms to managing the installation of the management firm that was selected.
Other operational matters that Next Parking completed on behalf of Shore Medical included evaluating maintenance contracts, preparing financial (revenue and expense) projections, and comparing the garage’s parking rates and collection methods with that of nearby garages.
