IBM and Streetline, Inc. announced a collaboration to help

Combining information management and advanced analytics from IBMwith data gathered from parking sensors and applications from Streetline will allow cities to make smarter and timelier decisions related to parking and their trans- portation systems. Officials will be able to use this Smarter Park- ing solution to better understand parking patterns so they can

of administering the City’s Parking System. Effective October 3, 2011, she joined the Duncan Solutions team as Director – Busi- ness Development with a focus on Florida and the Southeast. Parkmobile USA, Inc. and the Norwalk ParkingAuthority


announced an innovative new service that will allow residents and visitors in Norwalk to save time and money by using their mobile phone to pay for parking. Staying at the forefront of tech- nology, the Norwalk Parking Authority will soon be implement- ing the pay by phone parking service at any Parking Authority meter or pay station. The Parking Authority expects this to be ful- ly implemented in October. The company also announced that it has selected Citi to offer new, more comprehensive mobile pay- ment services to Parkmobile’s customers.With the new Parkmo- bile solution, motorists running to catch a train, plane, ferry or appointment can bypass the parking pay station and complete their parking transactions by mobile phone.
