LIGHTFAIR LUMINARIES

A round-up of internationally available fixtures at the US show.

EcoSense Bullet

The EcoSpense Flood- light Bullet is a robust architectural and land- scape luminaire that is ideal for illuminating building facades, landscapes, path lighting, signage and archi- tectural features. The luminaire is a high-output 6” fixture with 2048 delivered lumens at 4000K - 75.9 lms/W and ships standard with an 11 degree primary optic and have accessory lens options allowing for a variety of beam spreads including 10 x 60 and 30 x 60 asymmetric spreads for distinctive wall washing applications. Colour tempera- ture options include 2700K, 3000K, 3500K and 4000K and fall within a 2-Step MacAdam Ellipse. www.ecosenselighting.com

Solatube Smart LED System

The Solatube Smart LED System har- vests daylight during sunlight hours (using the traditional Solatube Day- lighting System model) and, as light levels begin to dim, its “smart” sensors activate the LED lighting. This fusion of beautiful, pure daylight with energy-ef- ficient LED lighting offers substantial energy savings as well as convenience. www.solatube.com

Lamp MAUI

MAUI spotlights allow accent lighting with two types of optics - Spot and Flood. The wall light model is available as indirect and direct / indirect ver- sions, affording warm, diffused light. The downlights are available in two versions, one with reduced dimensions in which the equipment is integrated in the rosette and another that has a greater visual presence in which the equipment can be found in the interior of the body. Both models have a reflec- tor system with non-flush LEDs in their interior that create great visual com- fort. All models are made of aluminium injection and are available in four finishes: texturised white, texturised graphite, chrome plated and yellow. www.lamp.es

GVA Lighting Highlighter

The Highlighter product family is a long run modular LED lighting system designed for large scale installations. Typical applications include architec- tural cove lighting with the Highlighter HL-Cove and delineation with the Highlighter HL-DL for when long runs are necessary and limited power feeds are available.

The Highlighter family uses the pro- prietary power and control system, INFINITY, allowing it to be installed in exceptionally long runs up to 672ft at 1,500lm/m with a single power and data feed. www.gvalighting.com

The Aera LED luminaire system from Winona facilitates user interaction to allow personal expression. It is programmable to easily select colours, luminance and gradients to create the perfect lighting levels and appearance. The trimless wall integration and day- light appearance of the lighting system add to its appeal. The system features a discreetly hidden white light engine for high performance indirect, ambient illumination that can serve as an alter- native to overhead luminaires. www.AcuityBrands.com

Carrying an IP67 rating, Ilumipod 18g2 IP is equipped with 18 3-watt RGB LEDs and features 12- or 30-degree lenses. For a reliable and solid design, 316 marine-grade stainless steel hardware protects against corrosive environments, while the humidity controlling GORE® valve equalises in- ternal and external pressure and keeps water and dust away. The Integrated Cooling Enhancement, or ICE design process, improves the fixture’s cooling efficiency in its external and internal components. The UV-resistant powder coat that covers the fixture, and the impact-resistant glass lens add to its resistance and safe use. www.iluminarc.com
