We lepers are a community hated by society. but by god’s love, the WMe people love us and care for us. they have given us a new life and hope, especially for my granddaughter. not only that, but through the WMe workers i have come to know about Jesus and his love. in fact the whole leper community is blessed by the love of Jesus who is our savior.


i am very grateful to WMe leaders and workers, and especially to the sponsors, for their love, care and compassion for us and our community. Please pray for me. thank you.


Testimony #2 (from a WME pastor) amulamma hails from a poor family. her widowed mother brought her up in the hindu culture. she could not attend school because of poverty. amulamma was working as a servant girl at different houses when her mother died. as a teen, amulamma eloped, and her husband died very soon thereafter.


one day, villagers caught her with a man. they tortured her, put her to public shame and tied her with ropes to a tree. she ran away from the village and hid herself in a slum. When we evangelized that area, vis- iting every house and proclaiming the gospel, we found amulamma in horrible condition. she was living in sin, sickness, sorrow and suffering. there was nobody to help her.


We comforted her and shared the love of god. she heard the living Word and was regenerated with new life in Christ. she repented. the blood of Jesus washed away all her sins. now she is a new cre- ation with new sisters, friends and fellow- ship in the WMe family. amulamma is filled with the unspeakable joy of salvation, is a witness for Christ, and wins souls for the lord.
