Design Classic Our monthly spotlight on the iconic ideas that have shaped kitchen and bathroom design
The Hayon Collection by Jaime Hayon for Bisazza
A new, yet familiar looking bathroom aesthetic was born when Bisazza launched the Hayon Collection, a refined classic-yet-modern range by Madrid-born designer Jaime Hayon.
It features a mix of styles that perfectly sums up the current trend for design fusion. Hayon says that the main thrust of this melting pot was a nod to the glamour of the 1930s combined with a Scandinavian touch together with some ‘feminine’ shapes.

Although a relatively new product to be considered a classic (given that it was launched at ISH in 2011), it nevertheless remains the signature collection of the Bisazza Bagno offering. Arguably, it also marked a defining point in bringing about a more delicate sanitaryware and furniture style that perfectly suits the growing trend for a more open plan bathroom/bedroom configuration.
