A Great Day Out for You

We were delighted when we found out about this brilliant new show that appreciates that being a mum doesn’t stop once your little ones go to school! Welcome to Mums Show Live...

T

he new and only show for mums of wonderful, brilliant, infuriating, school aged children. If you feel guilty about leaving your children to go to work, if telling your children about the birds and the bees makes you weak at the

knees or if you worry about how to discipline your children, then fear not. Mums Show Live, the UK’s first show for parents of four-to-12 year olds, is taking place at Alexandra Palace this coming May (16-19) to answer all of these questions and more.

Things to do at the show Join in at The Conversation Theatre which will be filled with a mix of celebrity and expert presenters addressing issues surrounding health, entertainment and education. It will be the perfect destination to get answers to all those questions

you are too afraid to ask. Come and enjoy the ‘round- table’, open, café-style format where the audience and presenters are as one. Speakers include the kids’ life coach Naomi Richards, broadcaster and parenting ambassador Sue Atkins, and author of The Times blog ‘School Gate’ Sarah Ebner. Listen and learn at The Inspiration Theatre where you will hear from leading experts and companies about innovative techniques and products that could have a real and meaningful impact on your life. Lec- tures will cover a wide range of topics and skills; from photographing the family to jam making, from getting back to work to wine tasting. Chill out by the Fridge Door and leave messages for friends and family. More importantly, relax and have a well-earned cup of tea and slice of cake. Shop in the Fashion section and Marketplace. See a wide selection of the best and coolest fash- ion for both you and your children, with some great retailers including Joules and Fit Flops. Get inspired in Lifestyle which will keep you stocked up with great rainy day and trip ideas, ensuring you’re the most imaginative mum ever, then wander round The School Gates to keep you up to date on the latest teaching aides and education services. Finally, dump your man and kids in The Den, filled with entertainers and games, and sneak off to Mum’s the Word to discover all the little treats that will make you feel like the superwoman you are.
