Welcome Goodbye

Welcome to the spring issue of Mum’s Survival Guide!

Spring is finally upon us, we are picking up the kids in daylight and Easter eggs have been in the shops for what seems like months! Shake off that winter lethargy, open the windows wide and let the fresh air in. It’s a great time to rid ourselves of the remaining dust and clutter from Christmas and New Year, and freshen up our homes for Easter and the summer. Our Spring Cleaning

Special, beginning on page 24, will get you started and, with the help of with some great offers from our partners, you can have things spic and span in no time!

With many of us planning to stay in the UK for our holidays this year, we’ve pinpointed some great domestic destinations in our ‘staycationing’ article on page 14. Also, be sure to check out Christopher Green’s passionate argument for the importance of summer camps on page 40. We are very pleased to get behind the campaign to make this unforgettable holiday experience more widely available for older children.

If you fancy losing a few pounds in preparation for the warmer weather and keep them off for life, we think we’ve found the diet for you – Zoe Harcombe tells us more on page 53. Our new Health and Wellbeing editor, Alicia Eaton, shares her views on bedwetting on page 57. This really is a must-read for any of you whose children are experiencing this condition.

As always, we’ve sourced loads more great offers, discounts, competitions and prize draws throughout the magazine that we are sure will make life that little bit easier for you all. This is, after all, why we created Mum’s Survival Guide!

And finally, the big news here is the launch of our fantastic new website, Mumsmag.net which will give you much more of the same – smart tips, intelligent advice, exclusive offers and great competitions – please see page 6 for more details!

We hope you enjoy your free magazine and look forward to seeing you again in June!
