time makes us better at what we do. It is like Avinu wants us to rehearse so we can perform better every time we do it.

The advice I give is to live life as a journey where your talents are given to serving the Creator and others instead of yourself. We have to sustain ourselves, and we must each play our role. We milk the cows, make cheese, take care of animals, plant, harvest, clear the weeds, minister, ect.

Consistency is my advice for following Y’shua. It is then that we will care for others, sharing His Torah and Messiah Y’shua, finishing the race, and aiming for the goal of fighting the good fight.

As we consistently seek to plant seeds, we will ensure a harvest. In the good fight of aiming for the target, we may fail many times to hit the mark, but we can always try again. As long as we keep trying, one day we will hit the target.

The instructions we follow should be attempted to be kept until we can know them in our minds and follow them with our actions in our everyday life. Since we are young, we have more time to become a living testimony of Messiah and hit the mark. Rejoice and dance! HalleluYAH!

HAVING TWO TEENAGERS OF YOUR OWN, WHAT STEPS HAVE YOU TAKEN TO INSTILL

DISCIPLINE IN YOUR SONS?

As they grow both spiritually and physically, the discipline changes. A spank or timeout no longer is needed or works. Living by faith and in faith brings out the fact that we are under the authority of YHWH and our Shepherd Y’shua. Honoring our parents as they impress the Torah in us makes the Scripture our way of discipline.

Consistency, humility, and selflessness are what separate the young boys from the young men. Teamwork makes us one as a family. So when you depend on Elohim for everything you do, eat, and have, He becomes your source for discipline.

I teach them from the Scriptures the blessings and cursings, and they must choose. Disobedience and rebellion do not affect only us but also those around us.

This can be seen in the story of Yonah when he was on the boat, and the storm affected all that were with him; or when Abraham said that Sarah was his sister, and those who took her were hit with plagues or sicknesses.

A man or woman, young or old, is measured by how his actions, words, thoughts, and ability to control his emotions show the fruit of the Ruach/Spirit. We must each lift a little of the load in the garden, the harvest, and the home cleaning and cooking.

AS A FORMER CHILDREN AND YOUTH MINISTER I SEEK TO MAINTAIN A POSITIVE ATTITUDE AND MAKE FUN OF MYSELF TO

SHOW HERE WITH THE LEONCITO THROUGH OUR MANY BUS RIDES SHARING THE GOSPEL WITH CHILDREN ALL OVER WHERE WE GO.

WE SEEK FOR THE POOREST AND THOSE THAT LOOK TO BE CHAINED TO SIN AND WITHOUT INSTRUCTIONS TO SHINE OUR LIGHT AND PRAY THAT YHWH OPEN THEIR

EYES AS HE DID TO US. THE POOR CRY OUT AND YHWH HEARS THEIR CRY.

AS A FORMER CHILDREN’S PASTOR AS WELL AS A FATHER OF 2 CHILDREN (NOW YOUNG MEN), I UNDERSTAND THE IMPORTANCE OF THE LIFE OF ONE CHILD, NO MATTER HOW BIG OR SMALL. YHVH TELLS US ALL THROUGHOUT SCRIPTURE TO TRAIN UP OUR CHILDREN IN THE WAY THAT THEY SHOULD GO (TORAH).
