hand. Without discipline, we cannot correct our actions when we do something wrong. And without love, we cannot help correct anyone else’s actions, because we will not have the right attitude to do it, and therefore we will make it worse than when it began.

Being disciplined may not be very much fun, but it is for our benefit, as it says in several places in the Scriptures, including Job 5:17- 18, Psalms 94:12-13, and here in Hebrews 12:11: “And indeed, no discipline seems pleasant at the time, but grievous, but afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.”

To finish, there is a really good book out there in case you want to learn more about discipline, correction, and how to have a better understanding and knowledge of what is right and wrong—regardless of whether

you are a man, woman, youth, or child.

It will be a hard book for you sometimes, and it will cost quite a bit of time to read. You may not like everything said in this book, and you may even want to stop reading it at one point. But it is a very important book to read and one that I recommend.

Here is an excerpt on what this book is good for: “For knowing wisdom and discipline, for understanding the words of understanding, for receiving the discipline of wisdom, righteousness, right-ruling, and straightness; for giving insight to the simple, knowledge and discretion to the young.”

It was written by a wise man named Solomon Ben David, and it is the book of Proverbs. Read it now in your local Bible and see if it can help you learn how to become a better and more disciplined person today! •

About the Author

Pura vida en Yahshua! My name Christian Montanez Dodd, and I am 17 years old. Who am I? Well, I’m just a regular old servant and emissary for my Messiah Yahshua, who seeks to follow His Word as best as I know how. I have a wonderful family that loves to serve YHVH in everything that they do. I also cook, read, take pictures, play card games, make desserts, milk cows at 5:30 in the morning, chop fields with a machete, plant, help harvest, make cheese, wash dishes, write blog posts, give hugs, eat food, watch videos about Messiah’s return, and a do whole bunch of other things that I don’t have the space to tell you about! I am right now in the jungles of Costa Rica with my family helping to share YHVH’s Word with others. HalleluYAH that He is doing great things here in the lives of others.

Shalom/Shalem!
