CladFrame is a cladding/facade support system, which features a unique cladding rail support bracket that has been engineered to provide a universal solution to facades - whatever the building structure, the carrier rails, and whether for fixed or floating-point rail support.
The design of the bracket makes it inherently stronger than other similar systems, both in carrying capacity and in pullout strength, which enables fewer brackets to be used making the system faster and more economical to install.
Two clips at the extremities of the bracket allow for simple positioning of the carrier rails prior to levelling and fixing. Having only one
CladFrame brackets are made from 3mm thick structural grade aluminium, and, if required, come complete with an integral bonded isolation pad in order to provide a thermal break between the building substructure and the facade system. The isolation pad also prevents any corrosion occurring as a result of interaction between the substructure and the alluminium bracket.
The simplicity of the CladFrame system allows it to be used safely with any RigiSystems facades, including Rainscreens, as well as with other manufacturers’ own facade systems.

Yeoman Shield ‘ticks all the boxes’ for community school
Yeoman Shield, market leaders in wall and door protection has been voted an outstanding success by Old Trafford Community School, Manchester.
Jane Walker, the school’s Caretaker, explained, “We first used Yeoman Shield wall protection over three years ago in the large main dining hall and had no hesitation in choosing it once again to protect vulnerable areas in our reception class dining area.”

Mapei showcase environmentally advanced products at Retro Expo 2012
Mapei were delighted to showcase their external wall insulation and protective coating systems at last year’s Retro Expo which was held at the National Exhibition Centre, Birmingham between 30th October and 1st November. On display was a comprehensive range of Mapei’s technologically and environmentally advanced products including Mapei’s Mapetherm System.

The system is completed with coloured renders and Mapei have commissioned a state-of-the-art Colormap machine at their Halesowen plant. The technologically advanced tinting and colour matching equipment has the ability to replicate any colour and convert to the NCS colour system.
Mapei expand product range with Colorite Beton
Mapei are pleased to announce the latest addition to their wall coatings product line; Colorite Beton. The new semi-transparent, anti-carbonation acrylic paint for general cementitious substrates offers long lasting and durable protection against damage caused by extreme climates and aggressive polluting agents.
Compatible with Mapei’s concrete repair and facade systems and fully compliant to EN 1504-2, the highly durable, water-resistant paint is ideal for coating concrete structures, reinforced concrete and general cementitious surfaces. The protective, hard-wearing attributes of Colorite Beton make it perfect for use in industrial environments, particularly where exposure to polluting agents such as exhaust gases and acid rain is a risk.
Whilst providing protection against extreme climates makes it ideal for external use, Colorite Beton provides a smooth finish and offers limitless colour potential, making it suitable for internal use. Available in a core
range, comprising of 4 shades of grey, further colours can be created according to individual samples using Mapei’s ColorMap, an automatic colouring system.

Community grants up for grabs
SPSenvirowall has committed to delivering funding to further support the communities in which they have been instrumental in refurbishing.
The SPSenvirowall Community Fund has been established by the national supplier of external wall insulation to ensure that when the contractors have completed the overhaul of the social housing areas, the community continues to benefit.
From scout huts and sports clubs through to back to work support interviews and mentoring schemes, people living in areas where SPSenvirowall has delivered insulation solutions are able to benefit from the funding on offer.
Mitch Gee, Managing Director at SPSenvirowall believes that longevity in a community is key to the turnaround success of the area. He said, “When we secure a job refurbishing social housing in any area across the UK we are committed long term. Our Community Fund is something that we encourage local groups to enquire about, for every project we work on there is a pot of funding available.
“One of the people we recently supported with employment advice and support also found a new home after being made homeless, thanks to the local connections we had in the area.”
