econd Wind Pilates Plus is in its fourteenth year of practice as one of the longest running

Pilates studios and Certifi cation schools in Canada. Our Certifi cation Program combines Pilates and Integrated Movement Therapies (IMT) to bridge somatic studies, functional movement, rehabili- tation and whole-body integrated movement in life and in sport. A systematic study of human movement, Integrated Movement Therapies (IMT) addresses the interface of functional and expres- sive movement, exploring the somatic experi- ence and meaning of movement for each indi- vidual. With its roots in age-old traditions, IMT has evolved from Laban Movement Analysis, dance, yoga, tai chi, Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy, and cur- rent studies in scientifi c and clinical research into biomechanics, function, psychology, and injury rehabilitation. Danielle Belec-van Zeyl, Director of Second Wind, is a Certifi ed Pilates Instructor through The Pilates Method Alliance, having origi- nally trained with both Stott and Body Harmonics.
