ON PATH TO A RECORD BREAKING YEAR


By the time this issue goes to print 2012 is not yet over, however by the end of this year YLW is expecting to break all passenger records. Every month between January and October, except for May were record breaking months for those respective months and so far August was the busiest month in YLW history. Final passenger stats won’t be finalized until mid January but one thing for sure: we will exceed the 1.39 million passengers who came through YLW in both 2010 and 2011.


SHOW ME THE MONEY!


We understand a lot of our passengers fly to the US from YLW, and this number is sure to increase with the added daily and seasonal service to Los Angeles. How many times have you forgotten to stop at the bank before leaving on your trip to buy some US currency or arrived at your destination and realized you needed US money sooner than expected and can’t find an ATM? Now before you even board your flight you can get your USD or CDN funds from the RBC cash machine located in the YLW Departures area found against the west wall near the washrooms. This is one of the first RBC multi currency ATM’s at an airport in Canada.

UNITED WE TRAIN

United daily flights to LAX that begin on December 19. Over the five week training program everything was covered including customer service to checking- in and booking passengers through the United Airlines computer systems.
