Editor’s Comment


As that executioner of language George Doubleya Bush once said, “It’s déjà vu time again.” My message this year is the same as a year ago! This is the time of year to be looking forwards not backwards. Successful people grab the future with both hands. Some may see this period of austerity as being nothing but bleak times ahead so perhaps it’s time to remember the words of Liam Black, the business brain behind Fifteen, TV chef Jamie Oliver’s international chain of restaurants.


“I think entrepreneurs thrive in times of austerity. There is not much money around so you are reliant on your wits and your entrepreneurial flare.”
