CAMPUS NEWS WITH ANGELA FRANCIS CAMPUS MANAGER AND FINANCE DIRECTOR

There is no pressure like peer pressure!

Many of you will have realised already that get one half of a partnership into a group session and the other half will follow. It’s not so much pressure it’s the fact that most couples like doing things together and nothing could be more enjoyable than getting fit and improving your life expectancy together. Sometimes its nice to stop off on the way home and have a beer together – oh well, you can’t win them all!

We are getting more and more couples joining our band of PT Clinic volunteers.

Trisha Ward joined us in May this year along with her partner Bill Gilmour (the trampolinist –remember?)

Unlike Bill, Trisha’s only previous exercise was walking but just like her partner she felt” AWFUL! Zero self Confidence, I felt fat and unfit!”

Trisha is a Director of Communications and Public Affairs and like many others, she finds the most challenging aspect of the PT Clinic is “getting motivated to get here after a hard day at work.”

Nevertheless, she attends as many as three sessions a week!
