DAY 1: FRIDAY. Arrival. Welcome to Italy! Upon arrival at Rome airport please proceed through the Passport Control and collect your luggage inside the customs area. Transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore the Eternal City. In the evening, meeting at hotel with tour host which will provide information regarding the program and literature of the destination that are about to be visited and will offer a welcome cocktail. Overnight in Rome. DAY 2: Saturday - Rome. (breakfast, dinner). After breakfast, transfer to the Vatican for a guided visit of the Museums. Vatican art and history have always left a profound impression on visitors to Rome: discover the masterpieces of Greek and Roman ancient art, works of Raphael, Michelangelo and Caravaggio, the Sistine Chapel and St Peter's Basilica. After the end of the tour, return to the hotel by private coach. Afternoon available to explore the city on your own. In the evening, enjoy a tasty dinner in a local restaurant. Overnight in Rome. DAY 3: Sunday - Rome. (breakfast, dinner). Morning Guided Visit of Imperial Rome including Colosseum and Imperial Forum. Tonight you will enjoy a great dinner served in a traditional Roman Trattoria, away from the touristic crowds and amongst the locals. Overnight in Rome. DAY 4:Monday - Pompei/Sorrento. (breakfast, lunch, dinner). Pick up at hotel in Rome in the morning and transfer to Sorrento. En route stop in Pompei. A favorite with Roman emperors, the rich and famous, artists, and writers, it's still one of the Mediterranean's must- see places. Tonight the dinner will be served in a local restaurant in the heart of Sorrento. Overnight in Sorrento. DAY 6:Wednesday - Free Day. (breakfast, dinner). Sorrento is an ideal location to discover the beauties of the region. Your tour host will provide you with a wide range of opportunities or you may reserve your excursion in advance via your travel agent. Tonight the dinner will be served in a local restaurant in the heart of Sorrento. Overnight in Sorrento. DAY 7:Thursday - Amalfi Drive. (breakfast, dinner). Today enjoy the visit of one of the most intriguing coastline in the world. Amalfi, Positano, Minori, Vietri... The small houses all huddling on top of each other, the breathtaking cliffs, the lemon and olve trees, the small beaches, the Saracen and medieval watch towers, the narrow roads make of this place a unique in the world, so precious to be listed in the Unesco World Heritage. Return to Sorrento. Farewell dinner will be served in a panoramic restaurant on the hills of Sorrento. Overnight in Sorrento. DAY 8: Friday - Departure. (breakfast). Independent transfer to Naples Airport or Railway Station.
