DAY 1:Monday - Costa del Sol.Arrival Transfer to your hotel – Day at leisure. Accommodation in your hotel. DAY 2: Tuesday - Costa Del Sol - Ronda - Costa Del Sol. Breakfast. – Full day Tour to Ronda. Ronda is certainly worth stopping at, to admire part of its defences (ramparts, towers, Gate of Almocábar). The small “Guadalevin” river passes through the Town, dividing it in two, its course having created the 100 m deep “El Tajo” Gorge, which is today one of the distinguishing features of this City. The historic Bullring, the oldest in Spain (1785) constructed in stone and its adjoining Museum of Bullfighting Art and History. The old Ronda with its secluded Palaces and Churches including the “Plaza de la Duquesa de Parcent”, a unique square featuring the Collegiate Church of Santa Maria La Mayor, an interesting building due to its complexity, since the Gothic Church and the colossal Renaissance Church are built upon an Arab site using the remains of what was the Mosque. Among the notable buildings and palaces, we will visit the “Casa Don Bosco” one of the many manorial houses in Ronda. Accommodation in your hotel. DAY 3: Wednesday - Costa Del Sol. Breakfast and day at Leisure to explore Costa del Sol. Accommodation in your hotel. DAY 4: Thursday - Costa Del Sol - Cordoba - Sevilla. Breakfast. Departure to Cordoba. Guided tour of the Aljama Mosque. Abderraman I initiated in the 8th Century the construction of one of the most emblematic buildings of Islamic Art. Extended on various occasions it comprises a lavish in which a cathedral of Gothic, Baroque and Plateresque elements has been built. It is a fascinating building which offers surprising light and colour effects as well as beautiful doors and nearly a thousand columns. The tour will end with a visit tyo the Synagogue and a stroll walk through the colourfull ‘Paiots’. Continuation to Sevilla in the afternoon. DAY 5: Friday - Seville. Breakfast. Panoramic tour of this charming city, the well cared for gardens at Maria Luisa Park and the Plaza de España, followed walk through the typical district of Santa Cruz and a visit to the Cathedral (15th C.), the largest Gothic Church in chri- stendom, with its magnificent chancel, carvings by Martinez Monta- ñes and paintings by Murillo, Zurbaran and Goya. Of the Almohade Aljama Mosque (12th C.) there remains, its striking minaret, the slen- derest tower in Muslim architecture The Giralda, to which an ex- quisite bell tower was added in the 16th Century and not far away another amazing monumental complex to see, the Alcazar, an Arabic Palace which was completed by Peter 1st the Cruel and is outstan- ding for its Mudejar style and Moorish gardens. Accommodation in your Hotel. DAY 6: Saturday - Seville - Granada.Breakfast. Luggage on board and departure to Granada. Afternoon Guided tour of the Alhambra (13th-15th C.), a fortified palatine city. Built by the Nazarite Kings, which also includes its Alcazaba Citadel and the Palaces of Los Leo- nes and Comares; the Generalife, a summer residence set in beauti- ful gardens; the so-called Royal Room of Santo Domingo, built in the orchards of Almanxarra and the Palace of Alcazar Genil used by the Nazarite Queens. The Palace of Charles V, designed in 1526 by Pedro Machuca in the heart of the Alhambra as a symbol of new power, is the most outstanding Renaissance work in Granada. Dinner and overnight stay in your Hotel. DAY 7: Sunday - Granada - Costa Del Sol. Breakfast. Departure to Costa del Sol. Arrival to your hotel and check-in. Accomodation in your hotel.
