DAY 1:Monday - Madrid.Upon arrival to Madrid Airport you will be met and be transferred to your hotel in the city centre. During the afternoon meet with your local hostess in the hotel for a welcome briefing regarding your available options when in Madrid. Overnight in Madrid. DAY 2:Tuesday - Madrid. Breakfast at your hotel. Today enjoy a half day guided City Tour of Madrid including important highlights of Madrid, thePlaza de Cibeles, Plaza de Colón and Puerta de Alcalá. This tour will end with the visit of the Royal Palace (Borbones period), a beautiful exponent of the 18th Century and one of the best preserved in Europe. A Visit is included to: Principal staircase, rooms of Alabarderos, Columns, throne, Gasparini, Carlos III, porcelains, Gala dining room, museum of silver, musical instruments, principal courtyard, Royal Chapel and the new four rooms. Overnight in Madrid. DAY 3:Wednesday - Madrid - Toledo - Madrid. Breakfast at your hotel. Departure by bus for a full day tour to Toledo. It still maintains its original characteristics. We will start this visit in Zocodover, which is the main square in the city and we go on to the Museo de Sta. Cruz. We will walk to the Synagogue of Santa Maria La Blanca of Mudéjar style, along with the Cathedral. Return to Madrid. Overnight in Madrid DAY 4:Thursday -Madrid - Cordoba -
Seville.Breakfast at your hotel. Departure transfer to Madrid railway station for a short trip by AVE high speed train to Córdoba. Upon arrival to Córdoba you will be met by you Tour Escort and start a visit to Córdoba, the former Capital of the Omeya Califat during the Arab Domination Take in the charm of the Jewish Quarter – its colourful patios tastefully decorated with plants, flower pots, bird cages and the inevitable whitewashed walls. Ronda.Ronda is certainly worth stopping at, to admire part of its defences (ramparts, towers, Gate of Almocábar). The small “Guadalevin” river passes through the Town, dividing it in two, which is today one of the distinguishing features of this City. The historic Bullring, the oldest in Spain (1785) constructed in stone and its adjoining Museum of Bullfighting Art and History. Among the notable buildings and palaces, we will visit the “Casa Don Bosco” one of the many manorial houses in Ronda. Accommodation in your hotel. DAY 8:Monday - Ronda - Algarve - Lisbon. Breakfast at your hotel. Bus departure to Lisbon, via Algarve where will have a stop for lunch on your own at any of the cosy villages in the Algarve area (Albufeira or Portimao). Continue to Lisbon.
