DAY 10: Tuesday - Interlaken - Bern - Gruyeres - Geneva. From Interlaken we drive along Lake Thun to Bern, located on the Aare River, overlooking the Alps. After a sightseeing tour of the city, we continue to Gruyeres, a picturesque village with its impressive medieval castle. Accommodation at the Hotel Ramada Encore***+. DAY 11: Wednesday - Geneva - Montreux - Zermatt. Enjoy a sightseeing tour of Geneva and visit the beautiful parks along the lake, the cathedral and the European headquarters of the UN. Then you travel to Lausanne and Montreux, passing the magnificent Chillon castle. Free time to explore Montreux. In the afternoon you travel up the Rodano river valley as far as Täsch. From here you continue by narrow gauge train to Zermatt, nestled at the foot of mighty Mount Matterhorn. Dinner and accommodation at the Hotel Alex****. DAY 12: Thursday - Zermatt - Nufenen Pass - Lugano. In the morning you are free to explore at your leisure or undertake an optional excursion to the top of Mount Gornegrat (not included). In the

afternoon you return to Täsch where you board the bus for a spectacular drive over the high Nufenen mountain pass to Lugano. Accommodation at the Grand Hotel Eden***. DAY 13:Friday - Lugano - Lake Como - St. Moritz. In the morning we travel to Italy to visit magnificent Lake Como. Travel along the shore of the lake via Menaggio to Chiavenna in the Beggaglia valley. In Castasegna we cross back into Switzerland and complete today‘s tour in the ski resort of St. Moritz. Dinner and accommodation at the Hotel Schweizerhof****. DAY 14: Saturday - St. Moritz - Vaduz - Zurich. In the morning we travel via Fluela and Davos to Vaduz, the capital of Liechtenstein. Free time to explore this charming city. In the afternoon we continue to Zurich via the Toggenburg region, famous for its picturesque houses. Arrival at Zurich central station or the Swiss-ôtel around 5 p.m. End of tour program.
