DAY 1: Sunday - Costa De Sol - Algeciras or Tarifa - Tangier - Fez. Early departure by motor-coach to the harbour of Algeciras or Tarifa to board the ferry crossing the strait of Gibraltar to Tangier and to continue directly to Fez with a brief stop en route (311 kms). Dinner and overnight stay. DAY 2:Monday - fez. Breakfast. Full tour of the first imperial city of Morocco, founded in the IXth century . Visit of the Jewish and Christian Quarters, the Royal Palace (from the outside), the Medina (declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO) with its mosques and university, the Nejarine fountain and the Tanners Quarter. In the afternoon panoramic tour and some free time for shopping. Lunch or dinner and overnight stay. (Optional "A Local Wedding in Fez" a spectacular show-parody of a traditional wedding ceremony while we dine in the purest Moroccan style). DAY 3:Tuesday - Fez - Meknes - Marrakech. Breakfast. Depart to Meknes with a panoramic tour of the city, then continue to Khenifra across the Middle Atlas Mountains. Optional lunch en route. Continue to Marrakech. Dinner and overnight stay. DAY 4: Wednesday - Marrakech. Breakfast. Panoramic tour of the red city, the Menara gardens, the Saadian Tombs (XVIth c.), El Bahia Palace, the Jewish quarter and the Koutoubia Minaret. Optional lunch and continue visiting the Medina (free time for shopping). At the Djemaa El Fna Square we will see the snake charmers, acrobats, water sellers and scribes writing letters for the illiterate. Lunch or dinner and overnight stay. evening of expert horsemanship, Berber dancing and local delicacies while we dine in the traditional Moroccan style). DAY 5: Thursday -Marrakech - Casablanca -
Rabat.Breakfast. Depart to Casablanca with a brief stop in Settat. Upon arrival, panoramic tour of this cosmopolitan city, with a visit from the exterior of the Hassan II Mosque. Continue to Rabat, the Capital of the Kingdom. Dinner and overnight stay. DAY 6: Friday - Rabat - Tangier. Breakfast. The city tour will show us the exquisite Tower of Hassan (XII c.), the busy Kasbah and the imposing Royal Palace from the exterior. Visit of the Mohamed 5th Mausoleum, and the ruins of the old Mosque. Continue to Tangier via Larache. Panoramic tour in Tangier. Dinner and overnight stay. DAY 7: Saturday - Tangier - Algeciras or Tarifa - Costa Del Sol. Breakfast. Depart for the harbour of Tarifa or Algeciras and continue by bus to the Costa del Sol.
Remarks DAY 5. Overnight can be either in Casablanca or Rabat. Sightseeing Tours of both cities are guaranteed. Hotels and itinerary can be subject to change although alternative hotels will always be of a similar or higher category. Baggage allowance: 1 suitcase per person.
Citizens of: European Union, U.S.A, Canada, Japan and some other countries are exempt from a visa for entry into Morocco but a valid passport will always be required.
