Rodney Style, partner at the Oxford office and chairman of Haines Watts, explained, “The award was voted for by around 1,200 CFOs, finance directors and senior finance professionals. Barry Potter, partner at the Farnborough office, said,

Fryer Commercial opens new office in Reading
Fryer Commercial opened a new commercial agency office in Reading in September.
In charge is director Peter Barrett, with 30 years of experience in commercial property in both London and the Thames Valley. Barrett’s experience includes agency, development and investment, plus an excellent knowledge of modern working methods including managed offices and other flexible working practices.
Simon Fryer commented: “After four hard but rewarding and successful years in Bracknell, first with Fryer Holt and since 2010 as Fryer Commercial, I feel the company needs to grow again.
“Expanding in a recession is considered by some to be ill advised, however my experience of starting new businesses tells me that recessions are a good time; income can only go one way and costs are easier to keep under control. Agents cannot sit back in such markets though, different thinking is required.
“With his energy and depth of experience, Peter will be a great asset to the company and its growth. Nothing is too much trouble for him, a quality that is intrinsic to Fryer Commercial’s work ethic.
“I have gained some very active and supportive clients in Bracknell, Wokingham and Ascot over the years, and with 28 years’ experience in Reading, I feel the company is well placed for this expansion. I have created what I regard as a niche and highly-personal operation, which my clients seem to appreciate.”
