Ontario Racing Commission Moves To The Ministry Of Government Services

The Ontario Racing Commission (ORC) will be reporting to the Ministry of Government Services (MGS), effective immediately. MGS is well placed to work with the ORC during this period of change, as it is responsible for providing oversight and advice to all government ministries on agency governance and accountability.

Conversations and meetings between Commission and Ministry personnel, including Minister Takhar, are already underway. “The objective is to get MGS up to speed as quickly as possible,” said ORC Chair, Rod Seiling. For further information, please contact Rod Seiling at the Ontario Racing Commission at (416) 213-0520. John L. Blakney Executive Director
