Camp Cool Spring is a unique day-camp experience for kids, ages 6-13, at beautiful Cool Spring nature preserve and CraftWorks’ green studio barn. Camp is held daily, 9am- 3pm, with before and after care available. Weekly camper fee $150.
FASHIONWORKS DESIGN (AGES 10-13) JULY 30-AUG. 3 Teaching Artist: Diana Gorham
Does the world of fash- ion excite and inspire you? Explore your style and learn fashion-design techniques from concept fashion sketching, styling, draping, pattern cutting, and sewing. You’ll style your own photo shoot and show off your designs in a fashion show! Take home an embellished t-shirt and by you!
AVANT GUARDIAN INTENSIVE STUDIO TRAINING FOR TEENS!
June 11-15 9am-3pm
For teens ages 14 and older interested in future studies or careers in art. In this one-week training, create a working sketchbook, an artist statement, at least 2 completed portfo- features guest professors from local colleges and universities and working artists giving their insights on preparing for a ca- reer in art. Work side by side with CraftWorks Teaching Artists and train to become mentors and junior counselors at Camp Cool Spring. The week closes with an exhibit of your work!

Polymer clay plays well with all sorts of other materials. Combine it with paper, wood, feathers, bits of nature, shell and more to cre- ate art, jewelry and tiles. In this two-evening workshop, learn to work with this fun and versatile clay (no kiln needed). We’ll cover many techniques and explore a variety of materials while you are making your own unique masterpieces. All skill levels welcome and encouraged. Tuition $60, Members $54
If you have worked with polymer clay or taken a polymer clay class at CraftWorks, this is your chance to continue exploring this versatile material. You’ll have plenty of workspace and equip- ment. Any materials you need will be available for purchase. Bring anything you want to work on and be sure to bring an or- nate button, piece of jewelry or other texture that we can swap and make molds from (you’ll get your unharmed original back). We can see what others are doing with their work and learn from each other. Tuition $15
The second session of a planned monthly gathering for communi- ty artists working in polymer clay/mixed media to be able to work together in our studio, network, and learn from each other. This month’s gathering will include two guest artists from California: Marie Segal and Deidra True. Come enjoy the company of other artists and crafters!!
