UK Key Release Dates
• In January 2012 Tomy became the new master toy licensee for Winnie the Pooh!
• Tales of Friendship with Winnie the Pooh is a new television series based on the Disney Publishing series of the same name. Set deep in the Hundred Acre Wood, celebrity storyteller, Robert Webb, opens his storybook and reads special tales. The pictures in the storybook come to life through a combination of live action and unique book-style motion graphics. The series consists of 18 colourful episodes of 5 minutes, will air during the bedtime block on Disney Junior and features a bedtime song
• “The Mini Adventures of Winnie the Pooh”, a beautiful series of animated shorts narrated by John Cleese (2-3 minutes), launched in September 2011 on Disney Junior and will premiere online Spring 2012. The shorts continue to air daily with new shorts premiering throughout 2012 and 2013.
• Tales of Friendship publishing will launch in Autumn 2012. • Six Heritage Winnie the Pooh Movie DVDs are available for promotions all year round.
• One Special Edition DVD + bonus content will launch every year from Summer 2012, The Tigger Movie, to 2016 (two titles in 2015).
