Crazy RV: Here’s one of those crazy RVs from the

Nor-West Glass Eggs: Hey all you Glass Egg owners and enthusiasts, get your trailers polished and ready

to roll! We are having one large event this year on June 21 to 24 at the Sons of Norway Campground-Spleepiners, eight miles east of Misson, BC. It is a beautiful spot to either stay at the site, or to just go hiking, cycling or even golfi ng at some of the fi ne golf courses close by. We have lots of fun events planned from games to craſt classes (small fee) or seminars on repair and maintenance of your trailer. T ere is a craſt beer exchange planned, no large brewery types please just the small craſt -style. A potluck is on for the Saturday night and our theme will be Swedish dishes. We are having a dress-up contest where the idea is to think up a Viking costume. I personally am working on a Viking costume for my dog. T e evening campfi re is a very popular gathering as that is when we catch up on our busy

off -season, plus connecting with each other and sharing our upcoming adventures. T is event is by no means just for people who own fi berglass trailers. It is also for all who are interested in these little gems, either to own one themselves

one day, or just to have a good look inside. Well, here is your chance! T e open house or open trailer door event is on Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon. Not only are these vintage and newer trailers on display but the vintage cars that pull

them are here on display as well. For more information, please check out Nor-West Glass Egg on Facebook or call our wagonmaster Carol at 604-988-9625. She can give you detailed instructions on how to get to the Sons of Norway Campground. Sheree Liversidge 604-657-0055

Training Video: We have a new trailer. It is a toy hauler with a bumper hitch. We contacted Tim at drivesaferv.com and he told us if our trailer was over 4,600 kg we had to upgrade our RV license. He has a video that helps people get through this road

test. If not for his video I don’t think we would have passed the road test. T e info that he provided us over the

phone and off his video was wonderful. If you have ever wanted to improve your driving, or if like me not comfortable towing, his video is a must. My boyfriend tried to teach me towing, but he just got frustrated. Tim’s video not only helped me, my boyfriend thinks he is better now himself. Now I tow all the time with confi dence. I think this video is a must. T e pre-trip

checklist saved us thousands of dollars. Check out www.drivesaferv.com. Watch the youtube clip.

Tall Fiberglass Pickup Truck Topper: My 2004 Chevy Duramax 2500HD 4wd,

crew cab, long bed pickup pulls an Arctic Fox 27T trailer. But I would like to take one or two motorcycles on our travels. However, for the life of me I cannot fi nd an ‘ultra’ tall fi berglass topper for my truck. A.R.E. and other manufactures have some possibilities but they are designed for later model trucks. I can’t believe I’m the only camper

with an ‘older’ pickup that would like to transport motorcycles in an enclosed topper. Can anyone help?
