His chief aim is to provide happiness and security for his gifted daughter Margaret who has been brought up in complete ignorance of her father’s involvement in a black market of buying and selling stolen jewels. His even more sinister past is discovered by his shop assistant who begins to blackmail Descius. How will he deal with the pressure of blackmail and with the fear that his daughter may discover the truth? Percy keeps us guessing right to the end!
The Hazlitt Theatre’s choir is full to the rafters. The choir has a whopping 100 members who regularly attend on a Wednesday evening and sing songs from musical theatre to contemporary music and everything and anything in between.
The choir is so popular it has a waiting list of people eager to join; however, they are still on the lookout for a few more tenors, so if you fit the bill then they’d love to hear from you.
The choir is currently working on its next performance at the Hazlitt Arts Centre (Exchange studio) on Sunday, April 15 at 8pm to round off yet another successful term.
