Delight Morris ’89 and her husband Rudy, owners of Orange Bay Company, together with their customers, family, friends and sponsors, donated $19,100 to the Salvation Army as the recipient of their annual Sunrise Project.

Anika DeShields ’90 and David Skinner, Alumnus and Former Parent, recently gave The Institute of Chartered Accountants’ first scholarship to two students who are currently enrolled in Saint Vincent University, Bachelor of Business Administration at the Bermuda College.


Teresa Perozzi ’91 the WBA Middle Weight Champion has been in the papers quite a lot lately as she prepares to defend her title against American April Ward in March.


Belinda Barbieri ’91 recently supported Marilyn Steede in her 24 Hour walk for the Family Centre.


Joanne Sherratt-Wyer ’92 returned to the island last summer after six years as a medical officer in the Royal Air Force and has opened up her new general practitioner practice in town: Somers Medical Services.


Jennifer (Wills) Cordeiro, ’93 recently wrote in to tell us, “I just wanted to pass on some exciting news. In the last few years I’ve become very involved in paper crafting - card making in particular. My cards and I were featured a few months ago on People and Places with Charles Webb which brought in quite a few special orders for me. My big news, however, is that some of my cards have been published in two American paper crafting magazines. The December issue of Cards magazine featured two of my cards and the February issue featured one. The January/February issue of Paper Crafts magazine also featured one of my cards. The Paper Crafts issue is especially exciting as they had over 1100 submissions for about 200 places.


Ashley Estwanik ’94 is back in the running circuit after giving birth to her second child Harrison last summer.


Robyn Skinner ’96 talked to Secondary students in November as part of the School’s International Day celebrations and had us all itching to travel. She spoke of the balance that she was able to gain from travelling and finishing her schooling and the strength that travelling can give to you and the new perspectives you can gain from different cultures.


2000s


Joanna Dove ’00 was recently profiled by The Royal Gazette for her work as a “globe-trotting” management consultant. She said, “If you think being a management consultant is a career that keeps you tied to a desk and the corporate world, think again”. Joanna has completed her MBA at Oxford and is now working at the London Stock Exchange.


Natasha Pedro-Petty ’01, is currently in London pursuing a Masters in Special and Inclusive Education.


Lauren Rowntree ‘02 recently graduated from Wheelock College, MA with a Masters of Science in Integrated Elementary

Rachel Barritt ’93 was recently appointed a director at Marshall, Diel and Myers. She shares with BHS: “I had my second daughter, Avery Isla Taylor on the 5 May 2011. She joins her big sister Hannah Somers Taylor who will be starting BHS this September! I have applied for Avery to start BHS in 2016.”


Jenni Rowntree Estis ‘95 reports that on November 5, 2011 she married Martin Estis at Elbow Beach. Her sister, Lauren ’02, was the Maid of Honour and guests included Anna Laura (Spurling) Hocking ’95, Reader for the Ceremony and her Godmother Julie Downey, BHS’s longest serving current faculty member.
