Spicerhaart’s new Lettings MD Andrew Benn plans to use his extensive industry experience to hone the talents
of his staff. The 41-year-old has been in the industry since the age of 18, working first for Jackson Property Services and then for Countrywide Group in south east London and Kent for two decades. He was attracted to Spicerhaart
by Chief Executive Paul Smith. “He has a very entrepreneurial vision and takes a less corporate approach to others in his position; he sees a real future in lettings and wants to extensively expand the division – as do I. “To ensure we can move forward
effectively, I want to focus on our people – the most important asset in any lettings company. I’m going to place a huge emphasis on training and development to make sure they are motivated and well- supported. Bidwells, has appointed Marc Langdon as Head of New Homes for its Norwich Office, with immediate effect.
Marc moves to the Norwich
office from Cambridge where he has been based since joining the team in 2001. Asked what he thinks of current
market conditions in the area Marc comments, “We have housing shortages with a real need for more new homes. We desperately need the banks to lend to purchasers and developers.

Jason Capel as the newest member of their Cambridge office New Homes Team. Jason joins Bidwells from Kier Homes in Sandy, Bedfordshire. He has extensive experience in the new homes arena having also worked with Wilson Connolly, Bryant Homes, Countryside Properties and Bellwinch (part of the Kier Group).Jason says, “I am looking forward to the many challenges the Cambridgeshire new homes market will provide”, says Jason. “We have some really exciting developments on our books and I have no doubt that they will sell, and, sell well.”

Caxtons, has appointed business consultant Ron Roser to provide a creative
contribution at
board level, supporting the company’s strategic management and good corporate governance. Ron said he was delighted to
accept the role, “Over the past five years I have worked with Caxtons’ directors, assisting them with business development and profile raising in the business community across the south east.” Ron has an impressive track record having worked with Barclays Bank in a senior management position and BDO Stoy Hayward before launching Langton Business Services – an independent business consultancy. industry specialist Alan Holton as National Sales Manager. Alan has previously held senior sales management roles at Letsure, Homelet and Letsense. Andrew joins Marsh & Parsons
after successfully running a land agency in Surrey for the past 14 years, where he built up a unique understanding of the developments and the key players in the market. He has acted for charities, major companies and institutions in the acquisition and disposal of their property assets as well as New Homes developments in both Surrey and London. Andrew is currently engaged in
a Business and Management degree. He already has a qualification from the Institute of Management and is enrolled in the associate programme of the RICS. Peter Rollings, MD of Marsh &
