The JNP Partnership’s highly successful residential lettings office in High Wycombe
Buckinghamshire has celebrated its10th anniversary. In 2001 the Directors of the
JNP Partnership, well known estate agents in South Buckinghamshire opened a lettings office. Philip Suter who had previously
established a residential lettings department in 1984 for another firm in the Slough/Uxbridge area, joined JNP to launch the lettings office which has grown from a small “add on” department to a highly profitable operation employing some 10 members of staff. Philip still acts as a Consultant
for JNP, but the day to day running is the responsibility of Lettings Manager Vicky Lyle, who said, “The rental market is very positive at the moment and with plenty of investment potential with new developments being built (and sold by JNP New Homes) we are increasing our portfolio of let property from an excellent tenant base.”
MD of The JNP Partnership is
Stephen Grace, an agent since 1993 and with JNP since 1998 and he also spent eighteen months running the JNP lettings office. Stephen said, ”I am very proud of the way in which the JNP letting business has grown. The JNP Letting Business has become such a major and integral part of our company. I am delighted with the achievements made to-date and am confident in Vicky and her team continuing to lead the way as the chief local lettings agent and their on-going success.”

Haus Properties, set up by former Apprentice candidate, Jamie Lester, aims to turn the most ‘hated profession’ on its head. Haus Properties prides itself on a distinct approach to buying, selling or renting with its free removal service (they will pack and move vendors as part of their fee), ‘open-book’ technology and video view of all properties prior to viewing.
Jamie set up the business in
2011 with a strong desire to transform people’s perception of the industry by offering a superior type of service. Jamie likes a challenge, he appeared in the 2010 BBC Apprentice show. He comments: “Appearing on The Apprentice was a life-changing experience which spurred me onto to set up my own estate agency, having started out in the business as a Saturday job whilst I was at school. I’ve thrown out the clichés and we offer a completely open and honest approach to buying, selling and renting property in South West London.” The first branch of Haus
Properties has recently opened in Fulham, South West London, with a further office in Chiswick set to open in the New Year.
New towN ceNtre office for SteveNS’ Stevens’, team estate agency in Okehampton, has, after 34 years in East Street, moved to a bigger, more prominent office on Market Street in the town centre. In a very busy shopping area the new office is close to three large supermarkets and parking, giving easy access and creating a strong presence for the properties in its new and
highly visible window displays. The brand new signage has
been unveiled and the agency is busier than ever before. James Stevens, manager of the office who works with father, John, in the family business, said, “We’re thrilled with the move. The new office is bigger, brighter and much more prominent than the old one; it’s amazing what a difference
the location has made – we were busy before but our presence in the centre of town has bought with it a whole new energy, with a heightened level of interest from past, present and potential clients. It’s had a knock-on effect with the team here too, we’re all buzzing with a fresh enthusiasm and thriving on being busier than we’ve ever been.”
