BANG THE DRUM

Welcome to H

appy New Year! Yes, it’s going to be very challenging for all of us. No, we probably won’t get that Caribbean holiday this year. Yes, we face working harder and working until we are 100 years old. Will we survive? Of course we will. Reading your predictions for 2012 was fascinating, property people are indeed, born

optimists, but realists as well, with every positive prediction balanced with a word of caution. I guess if you don’t wish for too much your dreams are more likely to become reality. And

I also think that with that rationale in place, we should rise above the doom-mongers and work our way to a respectable level of success. Jam and champagne would be nice but let’s be patient! Here at PROPERTYdrum we were ‘in’ the New Year mentally around the middle of

2012: Yes it’s going to be very challenging for all of us.Will we survive? Of course we will!’

November, with the production of this issue of our magazine and planning the rest of our calendar at the same time. We have the PROPERTYdrum National Conference & Expo – and B2B Awards – booked at the Lancaster, London for Tuesday 1st May 2012 and much more in the mix for the rest of the year as well. There’s more news about the event in

this issue and booking is now open, so save the date and book your place now – May 1st 2012 will be a day to remember! We hope that we will meet even more

of you in 2012, it is great to put names to faces and share news and opinions; there is always some global/national/local drama to debate so let’s keep in touch throughout 2012.

Don’t forget, email me with your ideas and opinions today – sheila@propertydrum.com
