Saddle sore for Lionsraw
A FORMER Charles Darwin School pupil saddled up with four university friends to take on one of Britain’s toughest cycling challenges in aid of an innovative soccer sports charity. James Reeve, 21, recently completed a 1,000mile ride
from John O’Groats to Land’s End with four friends in aid of Lionsraw, which seeks to use football to a positive effect. The journey took two weeks to complete. Politics and economics student James says: “Five of us started at John O’Groats but on the fourth day one of the guys had to pull out with an injury. We selected the John O’Groats to Land’s End direction as we hoped it would be downhill all the way!”
