The Interim results from OEG for the first half of 2011 were very encouraging – do you see this as strong platform for growth in the countries where OEG currently operates?


In most our current markets we have a very strong position, both in terms of image and by real market share. For instance Tallinn, the capital of Estonia, has become one of the most popular destinations for all Scandinavian poker players for its pleasant and modern facilities, many good local and international tournaments, and – last but not least – tax-free prize money. you have reached the milestone of 18 years – has the past year lived up to expectations?


Thank you for asking. The past year has definitely been filled with positive emotions. And, as I’ve said from the start of the recession, for a business


opportunities in the next few years especially in the general market growth that should benefit the market leader. It is important to note that the trend is changing – we have emerged from a period where we had to close some of our casinos, and now we are opening a new Olympic Casino at the end of this year in Slovakia.


It is no secret that the whole European economy is today facing new challenges and this could notably influence the developments in the next couple of years. Fortunately, as I already mentioned, we have received excellent “crisis training” and are ready to brave imminent developments.
