The Leather Jacket: u
Every guy needs a great look- ing leather jacket and with the new shapes, leather has never looked cooler. I love the Diesel Librass bomber jacket. It’s an updated twist on a clas- sic that can be dressed up or down. It’s cool with jeans or a great pair of trousers.
FALL COVER-UPS
breeze... The hint of a chill in the air... Do not despair. Fall ‘11 brings jackets, coats and trenches that you are
guaranteed to fall in love with. Here are fall’s hottest cover-ups to keep you warm, dry and looking oh so fly!
The Lowdown On The Season’sTOP Coats Do you feel that? Yeah... The slightest shift in the weather... That cool
The Anorak:
The Puffy Vest: u
I love the look of a puffy vest over a sweater. It’s all at once sporty, hip and uniquely American—that’s just how I’d describe Ralph Lauren’s look. Style note: Toss that puffy vest over a blazer to nail one of Fall’s hottest trends, layering!
t In Brit slang anorak means “geek or nerd.” In the States we call them parkas. Look for tech fabrics that are water-resistant, a bit more stream-lined and are of course, hooded.
The Coat:
The Trench: u
Let’s face it; when you live in South- ern California you don’t really need a winter coat. My suggestion is a classic trench. If you buy the right one you can keep it forever. Go army green, navy or black for added panache over a suit.
t When I hear coat, I think dressy, wool; with style and attitude. When you live in Chicago or New York you will spend a lot of time in your coat, so it better be some- thing great! While researching this article I found Billy Reid’s “Sparta” Officer’s Coat; five minutes later I was on Mr. Porter then blooming-
dales.com. It’s mine!
Well there it is, five ways to cover-up and stay warm chicly this fall! Remember, if you invest in the right coat you have years of style ahead.
