30TH ANNUAL LAMBDA
MODELS OF PRIDE Models of Pride (MOP) is a free one-day conference focused on the concerns
and interests of LGBTQ youth ages 12 to 24, and their allies. Words like cama- raderie, safety and a strong sense of belonging are some used by hundreds of youth to describe this annual conference. The Models of Pride conference boasts workshops, a resource fair, exciting entertainment, food, a dance, and an opportunity to make new friends. By breaking the conference into tracks, organizers provide something for everyone this year: a Youth Track and Col- lege Track for students; a Parent Track, where parents and guardians can access information and resources, and ask questions in a safe and supportive environ- ment; and a professional Track for service providers and educators looking to enrich their skills to support the community. Models of Pride takes place at the University of Southern California in The Ronald Tutor Campus Center on Saturday, October 15, with check-in at 8:30 a.m. For more information, visit
