Be sensitive to the fact that the employer wants to make sure to hire an employee, who can be an asset to the company. In turn, you can inquire how the employer plans to invest in your growth and potential. The relationship between an employee and employer should ideally be a “win- win”. Consequently, when being interviewed for a position, keep in mind that you are interviewing the employer as well. You might tactfully relay your hopes for a mutual supportive relationship.


There are a lot of very good employers in our met- ro. Don’t make your target list too limited, but be sure to research any employer thoroughly. When possible, try to connect with current employees to see that perspective. W
