What is your Mercury 360 RRS?
Mercury 360 RRS is the world’s first manual roulette wheel that has a random rotor speed to countering the risk of advantage play and wheel clocking techniques. It was designed specifically for the on-line casino industry, although bar far the most orders have come from the live gaming sector. The wheel looks and feels exactly like a manual Mercury 360 wheel, but lends an unrivalled element of security to the modern environment within which roulette is played today.
What makes the Billboard Display System so special?
Attention to detail, high end graphics, highly specified hardware and a passion for the product. With anyone of these elements missing, the product will be inferior in some way. The Billboard Display System has always needed to be as good as our roulette wheels, as consequently, our largest single orders have been exclusively for Billboard Displays. We have just won an order for 91 units from Crown in Melbourne, where build quality, graphics and the access to PowerPlay were sighted as their reasons for choosing Cammegh.
Can these Billboard Systems be designed to show promotional messages from casinos when the wheel & table is not in use?
The billboard can currently run live TV & promotional multimedia and we are also working on a centrally operated media server and scheduler which we hope to launch at ICE in January.
Are there any other new markets you are expanding into & what are you doing in the US market?
Cammegh designs its products for a global market, selling into all authorised territories around the world. We are also continually looking to grow our market and indeed recently announced our Manufacturer and Supplier approval for Nevada. Since being approved, we have already won significant orders from MGM and The Venetian.
Where do you see Roulette wheels say ten to twenty five years down the road?
Increased security against widely accessible technology that could be adapted for advantage play will be one area of change, but also side- bets, mystery prizes and progressive jackpots will become mainstream.
Do you have any plans to introduce or have you introduced automated roulette systems which do not need a dealer?
The Slingshot 2 has been an outstanding success worldwide since its launch 7 years ago, and as far as I am aware is the most reliable and accurate automatic roulette wheel in the world.
Tell me about your “Double Shot- Side Bet”
Our Double Shot side-bet makes use of the Mercury 360 PowerPlay feature. Using PowerPlay, the Mercury 360 randomly selects a number between 0 & 36 & posts it on the billboard display after ‘no more bets’ but before the traditional game result occurs. A separate betting area on the roulette table layout enables a player to bet on a number that he hopes will matche both the Double Shot and the traditional game result. If he does, he wins 1,200/1.
