BURNLEY AND PENDLE SPEAKERS CLUB Burnley and Pendle Speakers Club can help you improve your communication skills - whether it is a business presentation, a wedding speech or a lecture. This is done following a tried and tested process where you can learn how to speak in public and can practise your skills in a safe, positive-learning, friendly environment. Burnley and Pendle Speakers Club meets from September through to May on the first and third Thursdays of the month. Meetings are held at Nelson House, Nelson Square, Burnley, BB11 1LA, starting at 7:30 pm. The sessions last about 2 hours before they retire to the bar to socialise. Their president James Dewhurst would like to welcome anyone who is looking to improve their speaking skills.
