Jack High. Due to the holiday period the Greyhound Ford Hyndburn & District Bowling League Merit competition sponsored by The Herald only include Divisions 1 & 2 this month. In Division 1 last months leader, Bill Finn of The Globe Bowling Club, has slipped down the rankings into 5th place whilst Craig Rammell of Free Gardeners Bowling Club has moved up into 1st position. The biggest rise has seen John Whittaker of The Globe Bowling Club, move up into 2nd place just 2 points above 3rd placed Stuart Gall of the Free Gardeners Bowling Club. In the 2nd Division its no change on last month. Leading the way is M. Saules of Sydney St Bowling Club who is just 1 point ahead of F. Franks also of Sydney Street. In third place, just two points behind is Jack Palmer of The Globe Bowling Club closely followed by Sue Wood of Burnley Road Bowling Club. Division 1 C. Rammell (Free Gardeners) 67 J.
