Town Talk Summer fun to be had by all

Bishop Langstaff helps Lauren Care try on the robes of office.
Bishop visits school THE Bishop of Rochester, the Rt Rev James Langstaff, has visited Snodland CE Primary School. He told the children that after he
was appointed, but before he took up his new position, he had many letters from pupils asking what a bishop did – so he decided to visit the school. He told them he sometimes had
to dress up in special robes but instead of dressing himself he dressed Lauren Care of Shake- speare Class. Teacher Jayne Yeoman said: “Bishop James enthralled the chil- dren in our whole Act of Worship. Pupils from Years 5 and 6 held a question and answer session with the bishop about his role. “The pupils of Snodland CEP
send a huge ‘thank you’ to Bishop James. It was a truly memorable experience.”
