Welcome to the “Spotlight on Sports” section of T e Equiery! Each month, this page will be dedicated to various equestrian sporting events held within the state, as well as those attended by Marylanders outside its borders. With the internet and technology expanding every day, T e Equiery has adopted this form of reporting to better our reporting capabilities and get our readers the information they are looking for throughout the month. Here is how it works… In each month’s print edition, look for “Spotlight on Sports” on this page, with brief accounts of what is going on in the various competition arenas along with a photo or two. T ink of this page as a “sneak peek.” If you are interested in reading more, simply go to equiery.com and click on the “News and Resources” link on the homepage. T ere you will fi nd links to each sport page with complete articles, interviews, photos and additional links related to the specifi c sport. Each new article will go “live” during the fi rst week of the month. Additional stories may be added

throughout the month. We encourage our readers to submit their own photos and stories by emailing editor@equiery.com. We intend these web pages to become a source of information for each specifi c equestrian discipline, and—best of all—

you can sign up to receive email reminders whenever a page is updated. T e articles are also archived so you can go back and search for a specifi c month’s stories at any time.
