clinics are open to all registered young riders in Area II. I would highly recommend doing this clinic next year to any young rider, even if you are not aiming for the Area II teams. an Team (USNAET) has moved its operation to At Last Farm in Aquasco from Gambrills as of May of 2011. T e USNAET consists of ap- proximately 51 team members and nine horses. Instrumental in getting the team moved and set up was the team president, Dulce Johnson, along with team members Brittany Love, Mark Moeller, and Hannah Buck. T e new USNAET facility is owned by Harry
C. Ketts III (USNA Class of 1959) and Mari- lyn Ketts and is operated by Lynne Saunders, Sheri Edelen and Joy Buddenbohn. T e Ketts

housing and other ameni- ties while the midshipmen are on leave so that they can spend as much time with their horses as possible. At Last Farm is also providing barn use and the pastures for the team’s horses.

Junior Board Raises Funds for Angel Acres
T e Baltimore County Horse Show Associa- tion would like to congratulate its Junior Board for its contributions to the association and the sport of riding. T is group of junior riders es- tablished the BCHSA Equine Scholarship Award to honor friend and McDonogh School Rider Catie Carnes who passed away suddenly in 2010. T ey raised over $4,000 through bake sales, raffl es, restaurant nights, and a Plea- sure Hack Class they sponsored during the BCHSA Show Season. T e Equine Enthusiast Scholarship was awarded to two junior mem- bers of the association at the year-end Banquet of Champions on November 20th. T e group also helped promote and turned out to show their support at two fundraisers to benefi t Angel Acres, a horse rescue facility located in Glenville, Pennsylvania.
