It’s both refreshing and encouraging to witness the nation’s increasing interest in plant cultivation. It has been adopted by many, from novice to expert gardener, as a hobby that
allows relaxation, self-improvement and self- sufficiency, and which can be maintained without too much pressure on the purse strings. What began for many new gardeners as an
interest in vegetable and fruit plants has now extended to a desire to create beautiful, diverse areas to relax in, take produce from, and in which children can learn and explore. There is a very British sense of accomplishment that goes
