Epiphany in Green M

y family and friends have suspected; and it’s high time I came out. I hope they will be

tolerant. I’m green. I’m not involved in the politics of being green. I simply grew up green. Grass-roots-green kids put up the family tent in the backyard in order to sleep under the stars with the bobbing citrus. I did that. Grass- roots-green children delight in their father’s homegrown lettuce and toma- toes. I do!

I’d bring my collection to our

kitchen and soak them in a natural sanitizer, wash them thoroughly, dry them and use them for my next

party. Zeal for recycling the recycled is characteristic of the grass-roots-green. Incidentally, my reason for visiting the friendly yogurt

works was to redeem a coupon to buy one, get one free. I can well afford to pay full price for both, but saving a dollar here and there is common practice of the rock-bottomly-green. Call me Green Genes. I don’t care. Did I mention the frozen yogurt was delectable? You bet

I’m going back for the best frozen treat I’ve had in a while and for a few extra punches on my card (the ninth one is free). Green habits are hard to break. Ana Cooper facilitates Green Beauty events and classes. Visit her at CarebeautyLive.com. See ad page 55.
