s Tickled Pink enters its 15th year, plans are well under way to make 2011 a year to remember and the year got off to a great start with the announcement of Asda’s £1 million contribution to help launch Campaign’s tissue bank (see pages 6-7). At the Downing Street reception Judith McKenna, Asda’s Chief Financial Officer, said: “We are
extremely proud that Tickled Pink has helped to launch something as vital and significant as the tissue bank. It’s fantastic to know that the money we’ve raised will play an important role in improving the lives of those affected by breast cancer. A big thank you to all the Asda colleagues, customers and suppliers who have made this possible” This October, Asda shelves will be stocked with lots of pink products, including an exclusive
clothing range by George, and colleagues throughout the country will be raising money for Breast Cancer Campaign and Breast Cancer Care.

This year will see the return of ‘Travis Pinkins’ day – a day during Breast Cancer Awareness Month when staff will be encouraged to embrace all things pink to raise money.
