Fun for all the family at The Old Plantation
HERE comes summer and plans are already well under way for some great family fun days at the Old Plantation in Bearsted. Nigel and Susan Williams have quickly transformed the previously rundown pub into a family friendly venue where newcomers and regulars alike can expect a warm welcome and great home-cooked food. The special Family Fun Weekend
at Easter proved to be a huge success with the pub and garden packed with people enjoying the great atmosphere and family entertainment. With a bouncy castle, face painting, bucking bronco, assault course and hog roast, great fun was had by all. Building on that, further special events are planned in the forthcoming months at the pub. There will be lots to enjoy at the
Family Fun Days on July 3 and August 29. Dads will be the centre of attention on June 19 with a
Fathers Day Lunch. This will include a family barbecue, weather permitting, so book early, as it’s bound to be popular. Live music jam sessions and
karaoke will continue through June and “Themed Thursdays” are also being introduced during the month, starting with Chinese. Great value food is served every day – lunchtimes and evenings with booking especially recommended for the roast dinners on Sundays. An extra attraction are the great meal deals on offer - Two meals for £10 (available Monday to Friday from noon to 2pm) and throughout the school holidays children can eat for £1 with every adult main meal (not available in conjunction with any other offer).
