Portsmouth duo Nova Swing are this month’s deserving winners of a fab Vintage V6 guitar, courtesy of the kind and generous folks at JHS ltd. Nova Swing’s engaging mix of old school ‘baggy’ indie beats and fi zzing indie pop – underscored by witty lyrical observations on life, the universe and all that – feature some great guitar work but we reckon something is still missing. What?! We hear you cry. A fab Vintage V6MSSB guitar was the fi nal piece of the jigsaw and now that Nova Swing are fully equipped with this amazing sunburst beauty, there is no stopping them! Next time you are down Portsmouth way, check the gig lists for this cracking band…and don’t forget to check out their brand new super cool Vintage axe, too.
