ers. Mr. Velasquez sets strategy and is responsible for sales, marketing and channel development for federal, state and local governments and nonprofit associations across the United States. He is a veteran of the consulting and commu- nications technology industry with over 20 years of experi- ence in combining top-notch technical knowledge with business-oriented skills. He has repeatedly made significant contributions in sales, marketing, operations and strategic planning. Prior to joining Pitney Bowes, Mr. Velasquez was division president of the commercial division of Robbins- Gioia, a management consulting firm focused on providing expertise to government agencies and Fortune 500 com- panies. His organization’s focus was in the implementation of Six Sigma, enterprise program management, business process optimization and record management. Through organic growth and acquisitions, he created the fastest- growing division in the company. Mr. Velasquez holds dual advanced degrees, an M.S. in computer information systems and an M.B.A. in international business from the University of Miami. He is also a graduate of the Executive Marketing Management Program at Stanford University.
