MOST INFLUENTIAL HISPANICS IN TECHNOLOGY

Anthony (Tony) Jimenez President & CEO MicroTech

Anthony (Tony) Jimenez truly embodies the phrase “if you can dream it, you can be it.” He is a visionary entrepreneur, a highly-decorated veteran, and an award- winning philanthropist. As the CEO and founder of MicroTech, which Hispanic Business magazine has called “the No. 1 Fastest-Growing Hispanic-Owned Busi- ness in the Nation” for two consecutive years, he has grown his business into a multimillion-dollar powerhouse with over 400 leading professionals support- ing over 100 prime contracts and 20- plus contract vehicles with civilian and defense agencies. The U.S. Army has en- trusted MicroTech with some of its most important projects: In February 2011,

MicroTech was awarded the landmark U.S. Army $400 Million Information Technol- ogy Services–Small Business contract; just one month later, MicroTech won the $2.5 billion Operations, Planning, Training, and Resource Support Services (OPTARSS II) contract. It isn’t hard to see why: Mr. Jimenez’s government experience includes over 25 years in IT, strategic planning, enterprise transformation and acquisition management, which he put to use spearheading DoD efforts at remedying platform transformation issues faced by government organizations. Mr. Jimenez’s tireless advocacy for veterans, Hispanics, and small business owners has earned him numer- ous accolades. He’s been named Veteran Champion of the Year by the U.S. Small Business Association, The Washington Business Journal’s Minority Business Leader of the Year, and a Circle of Excellence Top Philanthropist by SmartCEO magazine.

Chief Executive Officer and Founder VisionIT

David Segura combined his zeal for information technology with a vision to create VisionIT in 1997.
