Ricardo Bartra is a senior IT executive with multifaceted experiences across multiple business sectors: semiconduc- tors, consumer electronics, consumer products and life sciences. He led the information technology integration pro- gram of the $1.5-billion Stiefel Laborato- ries business into GlaxoSmithKline across all markets, all business function and all IT services––including enterprise applica- tions (finance, commercial, manufac- turing and R&D) and IT infrastructure/ End User Services. In addition, he is responsible for IT strategy while tran- sitioning from program mode into an organization for newly M&A businesses. His previous positions include serving as CIO at Kodak Dental Systems, executive director, Global Enterprise Programs & IT Strategy at Stiefel Laboratories; and director, North America Head of IT at PHILIPS Consumer Lifestyle Sector. Mr. Barta earned an M.S. in information systems management at the U.S. Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, CA, and an engineering degree at the Air Force Academy in Peru. A networking and diversity champion, he sits on the board of HITEC (Hispanic IT Executive Council) and chairs the Strategy and Technology Committee. HITEC prepares Hispanic IT executives to be world-class business and IT leaders.


Christian Morales Vice President and General Manager Europe, Middle East, Africa Intel Corporation


Christian Morales is re- sponsible for Intel product sales and marketing in the Europe, Middle East and Africa regions. Prior to this role, Mr. Morales was Intel’s vice president of the Sales and Marketing Group and co-general manager of Asia Pacific, where he was respon- sible for implementing Intel’s strategies in Asia. He was also responsible for championing Intel’s worldwide emerg- ing markets strategy. Before that, he was general man- ager of Latin America and was instrumental in helping to establish a new regional headquarters and expand the company’s regional presence throughout the continent. He joined the company in 1980 in Paris as an Intel field


sales engineer and in 1983 became director for Spain and Portugal, and then moved back to Paris in senior positions to manage Western Europe channels and OEMs.
