Come along to the park between 10am and 3pm and hunt for the elusive Easter Bunny. Follow the trail clues, solve the puzzle and be rewarded with a prize from the Easter Bunny herself. £4 per child. Children must be accompanied by an adult. No booking required.


Monsters of Steam and Metal The Historic Dockyard, Chatham April 24 - 25


The increasingly popular Medway Festival of Steam & Transport returns to the award-winning Historic Dockyard, Chatham.


Sixth Annual Kent County Fair The Hop Farm, Paddock Wood April 30 – May 2


Arena displays include Motor Stunts International performing tricks, jumps and crashes and spectacular routines involving fire and stunt men. Live music performances and a wide variety of stalls and family activities. New themes for this year include the ‘village fete’ where everyone can have a go at tug of war and stocks or try their hand at the coconut shy


and other traditional games. Other attractions include vintage tractors, hop picking, Kentish crafts and produce, wildlife and gardening stalls. There will also be the chance for visitors to show off their own four-legged friends during the companion dog show and agility knockout.

Museums at Night Lullingstone Roman Villa, Eynsford May 13


An exciting opportunity to see one of England's most important Roman sites in a new light. Meet experts to find out about the villa’s fascinating artefacts and enjoy the evocative atmosphere of the intriguing ruins as dusk falls. 6pm - 9pm.


The Medway Flower Fair Cozenton Park, Rainham May 14 - 15


Medway Flower Fair, organised by Hadlow College, brings together garden suppliers, plant nurseries and other related stallholders for a celebration of spring. Entry is free and visitors are welcome to come along to buy their bedding plants, hanging baskets and also receive horticultural advice. Activities for children include ‘Design a scarecrow’ and ‘Posy in a jam-jar’. 10am– 5pm.


Wellbeing & Beauty Day SELT Conference Centre, Sittingbourne. May 21


Fundraising event in aid of Demelza House Children’s Hospice. Lots of stalls and therapies such as crystal healing and reflexology through to tarot reading and spray tanning. There will also be stalls offering nutritional advice, healthy food and smoothies. There really will be something for everyone.


Faversham Classic Car & Motorcycle Show Shepherd Neame Brewery, Faversham May 22


For one day hundreds of historic vehicles descend upon Faversham to create a colourful spectacle – a real treat for transport enthusiasts. Combine a brewery tour with a stroll around the town centre to see the wealth of vintage cars on display.


Meet the team from Guèdelon Castle Bodiam Castle May 28 - 30


Visitors are being offered the unique opportunity to meet the craftsmen from 13th century Guèdelon Castle in France, which is currently being built entirely from scratch using only medieval tools and techniques. Visitors can discover these tools and techniques and take part in a variety of hands-on activities. There will also be the opportunity for visitors to design and paint their own medieval shield to take home.
