Kane Named President of Designa NA Operations


Since the first of the year, Germany-based Designa has


had a new face in the U.S.. Robert J. “Bob” Kane has taken over the reins of the group’s North American Operations, and he is anything but a newcomer to the parking and intelligent transportation systems industries. Kane has extensive experi- ence in the parking industry, having held executive positions with two of the leading NAmanufacturers of parking control system solutions, as well as having started his own parking distributorship. Designa, the company says, is providing “new impetus in the U.S. market in terms of systems integra- tion, data networking and ASP solutions that in today’s tough economy are particularly relevant to ensuring prof- itable parking operations.”
